missing you

like autumn leaves fell to its roots
you had found your peaceful place
along the Charles I can’t stop thinking of you
as the water keeps on flowing under the bridge

i will continue on this lonely journey
heavy with treasure of your memories
until i find that resting place
where life is no longer emptiness
